This policy describes how Mobius Technologies LLC handles personal information.
Mobius Technologies LLC (the “Company”) recognizes the importance of personal information and, in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (the “APPI”), establishes this Privacy Policy in order to protect and appropriately handle the various information entrusted to us by customers, business partners and other individuals (the “Data Subject”), including personal information such as names, company names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses.

The Company handles personal information appropriately in compliance with the APPI, other laws and regulations, the guidelines of the Personal Information Protection Commission, and other applicable guidelines.
3. Collection of Personal Information
In collecting personal information, the Company uses only lawful and fair means. When obtaining personal information in writing, the Company clearly states to the Data Subject the purpose of use and the contact point and obtains prior consent. When obtaining personal information by other means, the Company publishes in advance on its website the necessary matters, including the purpose of use, and the relevant contact point.
When a Data Subject provides personal information, prior agreement to this Privacy Policy is required. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you may be unable to use certain services, including responses to enquiries. Thank you for your understanding.
4. Purposes of Use of Personal Information
The Company may collect personal information required when introducing or providing products and services. In such cases, the information will be used only for the purposes set out below.
(1) Personal information relating to customers
• Verify identity and authenticate customers.
• Respond to, confirm and record customer enquiries, consultations, complaints, repairs and support requests.
• Develop products and improve or enhance other services.
• Provide the Company’s products and services safely to customers. This includes identifying users who violate the terms of use and notifying them, and investigating, detecting, preventing and responding to fraud, unauthorized access and other misuse of services.
(2) Personal information relating to business partners (including their officers and employees where the business partner is a corporation)
• Communications required for business, performance of contracts and business discussions.
• Management of business partner information.
5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
Personal information may be provided to third parties only in the following cases or where an exception under the APPI applies.
• Where the prior consent of the Data Subject has been obtained.
• Where personal information is provided in connection with outsourcing its handling to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use stated in Section 4 above.
• Where information is provided in connection with a succession of business due to a merger or other reason.
• Where required by law.
• Where necessary to protect a person’s life, body or property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the Data Subject.
6. Retention of Personal Information
With regard to the storage of personal information entrusted to the Company, the Company implements appropriate security measures to prevent leakage, damage, loss or alteration and to prevent unauthorized access, and takes necessary safeguards for both hardware and software. The Company also provides personal information protection training to employees who handle such information and, with respect to contractors, exercises due care in selection and takes measures necessary for the protection of personal information, including entering into necessary agreements.
However, please understand in advance that no method can completely eliminate the possibility of human error and that no technology can provide absolute protection against unauthorized access, and that an unforeseen incident may therefore occur.
7. Requests for Disclosure, Correction or Other Procedures
If the Company receives a request to inquire about, correct, suspend use of, erase or otherwise handle personal information, it will promptly respond in accordance with prescribed procedures after confirming the identity of the Data Subject.
